In 2018 Penrose Parc was definitely looking neglected – it was rapidly turning into a forgotten patch of scrub land and an eyesore at the entrance to the Live West housing Association estate.
It is an ideal site for a Community Garden and here we are in 2025, seven years later, and the garden is well used by residents and wildlife so we have achieved our original aim.
